| | | Alberoni naturalistic oasis, due to the relevant biodiversity of its flora an fauna, has been included in the Natura 2000 Network of protection areas by the European Community. It covers 115 hectares and is protected by the WWF together with the Municipality and the Province of Venice and in cooperation with the Guardia Forestale (Forest Rangers). While walking or biking in its quiet and flourishing nature we cannot help recalling Goethe taking note in his travel journals of the many species of plants he could observe in this extraordinary sandy coast. | | | | | | | | |
