| | | Another Venice exists not far away from the urban centre, distant from the mass tourism and its classic routes but not less rich in history and true Venetian atmosphere. This is “the Venice of the Lagoon and its islands”, a large spread of water and half emerged lands where the silent views are changing with the ebb and flow of the tide and the traditional lagoon boats still endure and resist the aggressive motor vessels.
