New appointments join science to history and fantasy to science suggestions. The dome of the planetarium at the Lido of Venice, more than eight meters, is the third largest in Italy and above sixty seats for the audience, while the machine that projects the stars and planets rise from the floor recreating even the apparent movements of celestial bodies as we see them in nature.
The management of the facility, owned by the Municipalities and included in the Venice Civic Museums of science, is assigned to the Venetians Amateur Astronomers Association, who has regular interesting conversations and lectures. |
