Piazzale Roma is the interchange terminal
between road transport (cars, coaches and taxis) and water public transport
(vaporetti and motoscafi) or private taxi boats. If you arrive at Venice
by your own car, you can leave it in one of the nearby fee paying parking
lots.

Via Tronchetto
Tronchetto is an artificial island hosting
a vast multi-level car park. Once you have parked, you can take water-bus
no. 2 to Zattere and from there water bus no. 51 or no. 61 to the Lido
(transit time approx. 37 minutes). In the event that you want to take
your car with you to the Lido, you can load it on the car-ferry sailing
from Tronchetto directly to the Lido with a transit time of approx.
40 minutes (Ferry-boat service no. 17).
